There are three onsite training sessions being held around the state. The first training session will be held in Doral on January 11 from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. The topic is “Bridging the Gap in Council-Manager Relations.” Lee Feldman, Fort Lauderdale City Manager; Jorge Gonzalez, Former Miami Beach City Manager and Eric Soroka, Aventura City Manager, will discuss how they have addressed “real issues” facing managers today.

The second session will be held in Gulf Breeze on January 18 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, Central Time. The topic is “Respect and Civility in Local Government: Tips and Ideas for a Local Government Employee.”

The last onsite training session will be held in Gainesville on January 25 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The topi, “Crisis Management: The Sanford Experience,” was of so much interest to members that FCCMA has been asked to repeat it.

The cost for onsite training sessions is $35 and includes lunch. For more information, contact Carol Russell at (850) 222-9684 or crussell@flcities.com. To download the registration form or register online, go to http://fccma.org/onsite-training/.
