Jason Nunemaker Receives 2012 Carolyn K. Eggert Economic Development Award

0

On January 30 at the Vero Beach Country Club the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce presented Jason Nunemaker the 2012 Carolyn K. Eggert Economic Development Award.

This award was established in 1999 and recognizes an individual who has helped to create and maintain quality, year-round jobs for Indian River County citizens and who has made significant contributions to Indian River’s local economic well-being.

Under his guidance, he has helped establish the 225-acred National Elephant Center, a natural gas line; a chain store which puts Fellsmere on the radar for other chain stores; and a $316,500 grant to build the Scenic Byway Visitors Center.

He has also continued to recruit foreign investment and has overseen an expedited permitting process and city’s tax abatement programs.

Congratulations Jason!
