Martin County is seeking a Senior Assistant County Attorney to provide legal services to the Board of County Commissioners, Departments, and other Boards and Commissioners. Candidate must possess extensive knowledge of the principles, methods, materials, and practices of legal research. The candidate should have a thorough understanding of the laws of Florida, the common law, local legislation pertaining to the County, administrative law and regulations, and local government law. This position is performed under the supervision of the County Attorney. Must possess a Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school and a minimum of eight (8) years of prior professional experience as an attorney, or other experience demonstrating superior qualifications; admission to the Florida Bar.
