“Local Government and Nonprofit Collaborations: Innovations in Providing Local Government Services”

ICMA Practice Areas: 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9 and 14

Revenue constraints, government cutbacks, and creative service delivery has been the norm in local government operations. This special FCCMA training program brings local government leaders together for an informal panel discussion on the templates used to provide innovative partnerships with the nonprofit community to provide public services. Specific examples and "how to" processes will be outlined and discussed. Attendees will be encouraged to share their own best practices and to build upon the information gained from this informative program. This is a must program for any government employees tasked with the responsibility to examine creative ways to utilize community resources to provide local government services.

PRESENTER:
A distinguished panel of local government leaders from the counties of Lee, Collier, Charlotte, and Sarasota, and from the cites of Naples, Arcadia, and Wauchula.
