FCCMA holds its annual conference each year in May/June. The conference provides outstanding educational and networking opportunities to meet and interact with other local government officials.

The 2018 Conference will be held May 30-June 2, 2018 at the Caribe Royale in Orlando.

The Winter Institute is a day-and-a-half interactive conference for FCCMA full members. It is limited to 90 FCCMA members and 10 corporate attendees. It is designed to be an intense, interactive workshop for Florida’s city and county managers and assistants.

FCCMA will hold its 2018 Winter Institute February 15-16, 2018 at the Holiday Inn Tampa West Shore Hotel.

FCCMA holds at least one symposium each year. It is a full-day workshop focused on one topic such as medical marijuana or pensions, that impact local government managers and staff.

This year FCCMA will hold two symposiums. One in the fall and the other will be held in the spring.

FCCMA will holds its Fall Symposium November 30, 2017 at the Lakeside Community Center in Port Orange.

The Spring Symposium will be held March 16, 2018 at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers.

FCCMA holds regional trainings (called onsite trainings) hosted in your back yard by the Center for Florida Local Government Excellence, to provide a forum for local government administrators and staff to obtain hands-on training on current and pending local government issues. These trainings were created to reduce travel training costs and eliminate training facility overhead costs.

FCCMA offers webinars to both members and non-members through the Center for Florida Local Government Excellence and the Professional Development Committee. All webinars are held on the first Thursday from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm, Eastern Time. All webinars are free.
