On February 1, 2023 City Manager Mike McNees presented a #FCCMA recognition to the City of Naples, FL – Government for 75 years as a Council-Manager form of government. Naples is actually celebrating 100 years as a city this year, and 75 years under the best form of government! Congratulations to the City of Naples and thank you for being great neighbors and partners. The Florida City and County Management Association (FCCMA) is a professional organization of practicing public administrators from throughout Florida local governments. The Association promotes the council-manager form of government as the form that advances the highest ethical and professional standards.
