Supervisor to Leader

0
FSU FIOG RGB_large

The Florida Institute of Government at the Florida State University is proud to announce that its highly acclaimed and popular Supervisor to Leader training program is being offered as a webinar series for the first time this December.

Normally a three-day long program taught in a seminar setting, the Institute has adapted the Supervisor to Leader curriculum to develop a series of interactive webinar sessions to accommodate those who may not have the time, travel and training funds, or ability to participate  in the traditional program.

The Supervisor to Leader webinar series consists of three two-hour long sessions.  The entire series will be taught by nationally recognized leadership and organizational development expert Dr. Tippy Amick. Each interactive session will cover one of the three key components of becoming more than just a supervisor:

  • Leadership – December 5 (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, EST)
  • Communication - December 12 (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, EST)
  • Performance Management – December 19 (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, EST)

These sessions will provide a critical review of contemporary approaches to effective leadership, offer strategies for more effective interpersonal and organizational communications, and present different methods and measures for increasing employee performance and satisfaction. For a full description of each individual course, go to http://iog.fsu.edu/events/register.html.

The registration fee is $65.00 per individual session, or $150 for all three sessions.

To register online, go to http://iog.fsu.edu/events/register.html#test. Registration is limited to 95 participants per individual session.

Group discounts available: agencies registering more than one person are eligible for discounts ranging from 10 to 30 percent. For more information, please visit our registration page.
