The FCCMA is excited to announce the launch of its Florida Ambassador Program. In 2010, the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) launched an initiative focused on raising awareness of the contributions of professional local government managers, to the communities they serve. The full Life, Well Run campaign rolled out the following year, and with that, the ICMA encouraged individual states to make their own strides to raise awareness through the use of the campaign. The FCCMA is currently in the process of refining its inaugural group of Florida Ambassadors, who through event attendance, speaking engagements, media outreach and coordination with college public administration programs will focus on spreading the overarching Life, Well Run message that Professional Management Matters!
