Peter “Pete” Witschen passed away on July 6, 2015, at the age of 65, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Pete is survived by his loving and devoted wife Kristi Nicole, his sons Eric (Melissa), Kyle, Brandon (Katie), daughter Kaylee, and granddaughter Margot (Eric and Melissa), and brother Douglas (Jeanne). Pete was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and friend.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

He joined FCCMA in 1981 while serving as city manager in Cape Canaveral. He also served as assistant city manager in Fort Lauderdale under City Manager George Hanbury. His last position was vice president, facilities at Nova Southeastern University under President George Hanbury. FCCMA expresses its deepest sympathy to his family.
