FCCMA will hold an onsite training session in Marianna on January 22nd, 2016 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, Central Time, at the Agricultural Center, 2742 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Representatives from the law firm of Bryant Miller Olive and from the engineering firm of David H. Melvin, Inc. will jointly present an informative program on Florida’s Consultants’ Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA). Last year, FCCMA offered a similar program in the central part of the state and attendees raved about the benefits received from such a session. This year, cities and counties in the Panhandle area will benefit from this important session and the joint approach taken by the presenters at this Marianna program to cover both the legal and engineering aspects of this mandate will provide attendees a comprehensive overview of this process. Attendees will also be encouraged to ask questions and engage the presenters in discussions on “real examples” along with the challenges and pitfalls that are part of complying with the CCNA process. Whether you are the Manager or Purchasing Director, or both, or anyone else interested or involved in the process of selecting professional firms to provide services, you will want to make time to register for this training and to spend some time with your colleagues over lunch.
The registration information will be available on Friday, December 11th and posted on the FCCMA website.
