The ICMA Host Committee invites you to visit the Greater Kansas City Region, for the 102nd Annual Conference, September 25-28, 2016. Why Kansas City? Because Kansas City is where Fort Lauderdale City Manager Lee Feldman will be sworn in as ICMA President for 2016-2017!
Feldman previously served as an ICMA Vice President (Southeast Region) and as President of the FCCMA. He is a past recipient of the Florida League of Cities’ “City Manager of the Year” Award. Prior to his appointment as Fort Lauderdale city manager, Lee served as city manager of Palm Bay from 2002-2011, city manager of North Miami from 1996-2002 and as the deputy city manager beginning in 1989. Lee’s career also includes serving as an Assistant to the City Manager and assistant city manager for the City of North Miami Beach.
Lee will be only the second Florida manager to serve as ICMA President. Dan Kleman, Lifetime FCCMA member from District IV, served as ICMA President for 1995-1996. Join us for a Reception and Congratulatory Toast for Lee Feldman on Monday, September 26th. The reception will proceed our FCCMA dinner, both events will be held at the Little Dinner Theatre in Kansas City.
Why Kansas City? Because Florida’s own Lee Feldman will become ICMA President!!!
