The Center for Applied Ethics at Palm Beach State College will hold a three-part ethical empowerment certificate program for navigating the “New Normal” with values, ethics and integrity.
Ethical Excellence Seminar will be held Friday, January 20, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Experience this highly interactive session that provides the tools, skills and strategies to recognize and address a broad range of emerging ethical challenges, blind spots that can derail your decision making, and an action plan for sustained ethical readiness you can apply both at work and at home. Registration will open on January 5, 2017.
Ethical Lens Inventory Seminar will be held Friday, February 24, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Combine a powerful personal assessment survey with this interactive seminar to help you understand the values that influence ethical reasoning and choices, as well as how you and other prioritize values when making ethical decisions. Pre-requisite: Ethical Excellence Seminar.
Giving Voice to Values Seminar will be held Friday, March 31, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We often believe we know what is right and want to do it, but experience external pressures to do otherwise. Learn practical approaches to recognize, clarify, speak and effectively act on your values when those conflicts arise. Pre-requisite: Ethical lens Inventory Seminar.
