On April 3, 2018, FCCMA President Jim Hanson presented a certificate to the Kissimmee Commission recognizing the city for its 95th anniversary of operation under the commission-manager form of government. President Hanson presented the certificate of recognition, followed by a proclamation presented by the Commission in honor of the anniversary as a commission-manager operated city.
