On Monday, March 22nd the City of Sanford was recognized by the Florida City-County Management Association (FCCMA) for their 100-Year Anniversary of the Commission-Manager form of government. The actual anniversary occurred in 2020; however, due to COVID, the city was not able to be recognized until 2021.
#FCCMA member Mark Ryan, City Manager of Indian Harbour Beach presented the city with the #ICMA Recognition Award in celebration of their 100th year as a council/commission-manager form of government.
