Francis Thomas Kain passed away at the age of 95 in Daytona Beach on May 31, 2018. He served in local governments throughout Florida and Georgia from 1951 – 1987. He served as deputy clerk in Miami-Dade County, assistant city manager in Vero Beach, assistant public works director, public works director and assistant city manager in Fort Lauderdale, city manager in Boynton Beach, assistant city manager in Daytona Beach, deputy city manager and city manager in Hollywood, and assistant county administrator in Broward County.
