The Center for Applied Ethics at Palm Beach State College is holding several ethics seminars that would meet the FCCMA required ethics training.
Ethical Excellence Seminar
This session will be held July 28 from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm or July 31 from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm. This interactive session will provide the tools, skills and strategies to recognize and address a broad range of emerging ethical challenges, blind spots that can derail your decision making, and an action plan for sustained ethics readiness you can apply both at work and at home.
Ethical Lens Inventory Seminar
This session will be held August 28 from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm. This seminar combines a powerful personal assessment survey with an interactive session to help you understand the values that influence ethical reasoning and choices, as well as how you and others prioritize values when making ethical decisions.
Giving Voice to Values Seminar
This session will be held September 24 from 8:30 am – 12:30 pm. This session will teach you practical approaches to recognize, clarify, speak and effectively act on your values when wanting to do what is right but experiencing external pressures to do otherwise.
