"Local Government Planning 101"

Many city and county managers spent their early careers in finance, public works, parks and recreation, or some other local government service area that did not necessitate becoming competent in the local government planning discipline. Planning is one of the more complicated, and often litigious, services provided by local governments. As part of a series of trainings on specific local government services, FCCMA has secured Attorney Susan Trevarthen to present a one-hour webinar on local government planning in Florida that will focus on the basics, as well as current trends in this important government service. Attorney Trevarthen is one of the leading experts in the field and has agreed to present an informative program for local government leaders who did not specialize in this area before becoming a manager.
