FCCMA holds its annual conference each year in May/June. The conference provides outstanding educational and networking opportunities to meet and interact with other local government officials.

The 2020 Conference was canceled.

The 2021 Conference will be held June 2-5, 2021 at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, 14100 Bonnet Creek Resort Lane, Orlando.

The Winter Institute is a day-and-a-half interactive conference for FCCMA full members. It is limited to 90 FCCMA members and 10 corporate attendees. It is designed to be an intense, interactive workshop for Florida’s city and county managers and assistants.

FCCMA will hold its 2022 Winter Institute February 3-4, 2022 at the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront, 1500 N Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931.

FCCMA holds at least one symposium each year. It is a half-day workshop focused on one topic such as ethics.

This year FCCMA will hold one symposium in the fall.

The Virtual FCCMA 2021 Fall Symposium will be held October 28, 2021, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

FCCMA holds regional trainings (called onsite trainings) hosted in your back yard by the Center for Florida Local Government Excellence, to provide a forum for local government administrators and staff to obtain hands-on training on current and pending local government issues. These trainings were created to reduce travel training costs and eliminate training facility overhead costs.

FCCMA offers webinars to both members and non-members through the Center for Florida Local Government Excellence and the Professional Development Committee. All webinars are held on the first Thursday from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm, Eastern Time. All webinars are free.
